The Role:
- Oversee the daily office operations including reception, mailroom operation and office management
- Develop, review, and improve administrative systems, policies, and procedure
- Manage budget and expenses
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and coordination with landlord and Building Managing Agent (MA) on matters relating to office management
- Project management eg office renovation, digitization of documents and record management
- Serve as Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Committee
- Develop, implement and maintain WSH plans
- Ensure compliance with the WSH Act, other relevant legislation, and contractual WSH requirements
- Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure work activities adhere to WSH standards
- Identify unsafe work practices / conditions and recommend appropriate control measures
- Liaison with contractors regarding WSH matters
- Follow up on all outstanding safety-related issues to ensure timely resolution
- Perform Fire warden duties
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
The Person:
- Possess a Degree in Business Administration or related field
- Possess at least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Office Manager with Facilities Management & Project Management experience
- Prior experience in managing office renovation / document digitalization is advantageous
- Ability to handle and communicate with different stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Good communications & interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as a team member in a challenging environment
