**Roles & Responsibilities**

A Regional Trading Firm with a fast-growing presence is currently looking for an experienced **Assistant Accountant **to contribute to the expansion and growth of the business in Singapore.

You will play a significant role in entry and payment of vendors’ invoices, preparation of month end reports, balance sheet schedules. You will also involve preparation and loading of monthly rolling forecast and yearly budget, and preparation of audited financial reports.

- Responsible for the full spectrum of the Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP).
- Ensure timely billing to stakeholders and compliance with AR & AP procedures by generating and raising invoices, debit, and credit notes.
- Perform comprehensive accounting and tax service.
- Monitor the cash-flow position and ensure adequate fund for operation.
- Coordinate & facilitate Annual Financial Audit Process.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management / head of department.
**Requirements**:

- Minimum Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/ Banking or equivalent with at least 3 years of Accounting experience.
- Experience in working in Shipping/Commodities Trading Industry is preferred.
- Diligent, proactive, keen eye for details and has good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent verbal / written communication skill in **English & Mandarin** to communicate with various stakeholders.

- Partnerships and equity investments in biodiesel projects: Apeiron is interested in establishing long-term strategic partnerships with biodiesel producers and is prepared to invest.
- Risk management/hedging structures to biodiesel suppliers who need to fix feedstock supply prices and/or estherification margins.
