We are looking for a creative and skilled Motion and Graphics Designer who is proficient in creating high-impact videos, animating logos and graphics, and crafting animated graphics for marketing purposes.

GreatFrontEnd is a platform for passionate front end engineers. Created by a team of senior / staff engineers from big tech, our mission is to help front end engineers worldwide to improve their front end skills, get in touch with the latest innovations in the front end ecosystem and socialize with like-minded others.

Our first product of many - the GreatFrontEnd Interview platform - is already the leading platform engineers use globally to prepare for their front end interviews and clinch their dream jobs. As an early member of our team, you will have a rare opportunity to grow the product from the ground up with the founding team.

**What you’ll do**

This is a **fully remote, freelance role** open to local and international applicants.

**Responsibilities**
- Video Creation: Conceptualize, design, and produce engaging video content that includes animations and motion graphics for various platforms such as social media, websites, and digital marketing campaigns.
- Logo and Graphic Animation: Animate logos and graphic designs to enhance brand identity and create dynamic visual elements for promotional materials.
- Animated Graphics for Marketing: Develop creative and impactful animated graphics tailored for marketing campaigns, including advertisements, explainer videos, and product showcases.
- Video Editing: Edit video footage to incorporate motion graphics, animations, and other visual effects, ensuring a seamless blend between content and animated elements.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all motion graphics and animated content adhere to brand guidelines and contribute to a cohesive brand experience.

**Who you are**
- Bachelor’s degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design, Animation, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in motion graphics design and video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of animated and video projects.
- Proficiency in motion graphics and video editing software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D, and Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop.
- Exceptional design and animation skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and visual communication.

**Pay and Benefits**

As this is a freelancing arrangement, there will be no employment benefits conferred.
