Responsible for monitoring and ensuring the quality of products throughout the manufacturing process. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can identify, analyse, and resolve quality-related issues to ensure that products meet established standards and regulatory requirements. The QC Specialist collaborates closely with the production team to maintain quality benchmarks and improve operational processes.

**Quality Monitoring**:

- Conduct inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Implement and maintain sampling protocols for quality checks.

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of quality control tests, inspections, and findings.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
- Ensure proper documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality protocols.

**Problem Solving**:

- Identify root causes of quality issues and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
- Recommend improvements to production processes to prevent recurring defects.
- Collaborate with production team for product and process optimizations.

**Compliance and Standards**:

- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
- Conduct regular audits to verify adherence to quality management systems.
- Support certification and compliance initiatives (e.g., ISO, GMP, FDA).

**Communication and Training**:

- Communicate quality standards and expectations to production staff.
- Serve as a point of contact for quality-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

**Inventory & Material Management**:

- Track inventory of all equipment, calibration records, consumables, and materials used in the production process and report shortages

**Experience**
- Preferably 2+ years of experience in a quality control or production environment.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and tools.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in quality testing equipment and methodologies.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and standards. (For e.g ISO standards)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

**Working Conditions**
- Require wearing some PPE/ other protective gear and following safety protocols.
