**Assistant Engineer / Engineer (Plating)**

**Responsibilities**:

- Organize, plan, control and Support day-to-day Plating manufacturing operations to meet department and company business objectives.
- Support in Quality Key Performance Indicator for the Department.
- Support in any analysis and troubleshooting of any production troubles.
- Support in optimization of Plating production & resources.
- Ensure & sustain Plating Production process and engineering functions.
- Engage in process, productivity & quality improvement projects.
- Supports in necessary data compilation and analysis for Plating Production.
- Support in investigation & report writing for any Customer complaint.
- Control & monitor the status of plating lines chemical maintenance, machine maintenance and repair.
- Improve on daily Plating yield, analyze and reduce defect rate, wastage, and downtime.
- Oversee employees’ skill and competency level, and provides plan for improvements.
- Cultivate and educate the operators awareness and sensitivity including observe work instructions to meet quality objectives and production targets for output and yield.
- Control nonconforming products, that are to segregate, dispose or held for further disposition.
- Observe Safety and 5 ‘S’.
- Among others duties which may be agreed upon between the parties from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- Min Diploma in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
- Min 3 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing environment
- Self-motivated, confident, goal-oriented with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good learning attitude and independent
