LAI Games is an arcade experience company that connects people with games. We’re building an arcade experience ecosystem comprising of physical arcade games, consumer and location-based VR games and experiences, and other exciting arcade-based titles that connect, engage, and delight players across physical and virtual worlds.
The HR Coordinator facilitates and assists with all HR processes for our employees, assists with payroll, and provides general administrative and office support.
In addition, the HR Coordinator will collaborate with the Group HR Manager with miscellaneous recruitment support as requested.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for processing monthly salary payroll to include a review of hours, completion of Payroll Checklist, and submitting required reporting to finance.
- Manage new employee onboarding tasks/activities as defined in our HR system
- Maintain HR systems, keeping all employee records current
- Assist Talent Acquisition team with phone screen appointment setting, conducting phone screens, setting up interview appointments
- Manage all background checks for potential new hires
- Administer health, welfare, and retirement benefits
- Assist with employee event planning/shopping and set-up
- Assist with set-up of inhouse training, meetings, and onsite events
- Assist with compliance-related activities as needed
- Provide general administrative support as requested by the Group HR Manager
- Continuous development of HR skills via Percipio and external training programs
- Other duties as assigned
**Required Skills and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent employment experience
- SHRM or HRCI certification will be a plus
- 2+ years experience providing general HR administrative support, including payroll and recruitment
- Working knowledge of basic HR principles, processes, and procedures
- Working knowledge of basic administration requirements for health, welfare, and retirement benefits
- Experience in payroll processing required (experience using ADP is a plus)
- Able to multi-task and prioritize projects
- Exceptional customer service/support skills
- High integrity and ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
- Positive attitude and demeanor
- Strong team player
- Self-starter, able to work with mínimal supervision
- Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail is a must
