Facilities and Utilities Associate

The Facilities and Utilities Associate will be part of the Operations team that manages day to day operation of all Facilities and Utilities system and Warehouse Handling Equipment in the plant.

**_Facilities and Utilities, Warehouse Handling Equipment Maintenance
- **
- Collaborate closely with Procurement in the purchasing and contract renewal for any facilities related works.
- Manage and coordinate with contracts and delivery of services of primary facilities and its utilities services providers and its subcontracted work
- Effectively manage the operation and maintenance of Utilities to reduce the likelihood of a significant disruption of utilities (i.e. HVAC - heating and cooling, electricity, water, compressed air, etc)provided to the site and assures around-the-clock responsiveness to mechanical failures or emergencysituations, remaining available for on-call technical support for emergency responses.
- Monitor and record operational parameter data on all utility and facility equipment such as: HVAC, Compressed air systems, Alarms and security systems and etc
- Troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment including the following; Air compressor, Chillers, Pumps, Fans, Valves, water systems, Motors, lighting fixtures, transformers, UPS, PLC, electrical substation and various other support equipment’s
- Support the site’s OEE targets by the provision of 100% site services and utility availability
- Establish schedules and methods for providing facility and utilities maintenance services; identify resource needs; review needs with appropriate management staff and allocate resources accordingly.
- Manage the provision of outsources services (Fire Protection services, Security services office cleaning, HVAC etc.) to achieve agreed service/performance levels.
- Ensure that all utilities standby/back-up systems (generators, air compressor, water tanks, etc) and facilities are fully functional.
- Perform Ad Hoc troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance to repair.
- Make Preventive Maintenance program for Facilities, Utilities and Warehouse Material Handling Equipment’s and recording in the SAP system for history tracking.
- Generate work order forms in order to ensure timely and thorough job completion.
- Manage Plant Engineering tools, equipment, accessories and utility spare part Stores.
- Calculate spare parts and Engineering consumables (cleaning chemicals, oil lubricants, etc) requirement and raise PR when needed
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Change Controls pertaining to setup maintenance, and operation of equipment, facility, and utilities

**_Environmental, Safety and Health
- **
- Lead the operational execution of Integrated Management Systems and continuous improvement standards such as ISO 14,000, ISO 45001.
- Conduct periodic environmental checks in accordance to statuary requirement i.e. air emission quality, lighting, noise, heat stress to verify compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage all non-contract waste handling activities and ensure that all waste disposals are managed in a manner that conforming to all the relevant local and national statutory requirements

**Job Requirements**:

- Diploma / University Degree in Electrical / Mechatronic / Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in food & beverage or pharmaceutical organization on coordinating and managing plant preventive maintenance and calibration for warehouse and utility equipment.
- SAP Knowledge would be highly advantageous
- Ability to organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
