Marketing & Public Relations Manager Apac

The OpportunityThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced marketing and media relations professional to join our organisation in Singapore to drive marketing and public relations activities for Zurich in Singapore and regionally across APAC. In this role, you will be working closely with both the Regional and Singapore business unit’s Customer and Digital functions along with Senior Leadership across the region, to drive and support the design and execution of marketing initiatives and public relations campaigns.

- Experience in using communication software and tools, such as social media platforms and familiarity with graphic design and video editing software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, to create engaging and effective communication materials.
- Project management skills to ensure that marketing and communication programs are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Strong proven track record of effective stakeholder and relationship management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and customer service orientation
- Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as Office 365 apps.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 8-10 or more years of experience in related field
- What will you be doing?- Develop and execute on marketing plans and programs with the allocated budget and resources to achieve business goals.
- Work with external suppliers and media agencies to execute regional communications and public relations strategy in a timely and effective manner, including monitoring the performance of the vendors.
- Develop external marketing and communication material such as collaterals, social media posts, newsletters, announcements etc. for all relevant channels to effectively communicate the Zurich value proposition and deliver the Zurich brand promise to customers and distribution partners.
- Assist with driving the curation and coordination of company events and partner engagement programs, as needed.
- Lead Singapore crisis management, including pre-planning and crisis response, as needed.
- Analyse market and customer data and key industry trends to identify thought leadership opportunities.
- Job Functions- Develop and maintain media profile of senior spokespeople.
- Identify external speaking opportunities for Zurich leaders/spokespeople.
- Create and design presentations and briefing materials for senior leaders at external events, including conferences, seminars, and public engagements.
- Provide coaching and strategic communications advice to business leaders to ensure consistent and coordinated messaging.
- Work with other comms teams to ensure consistency and co-ordination of message and campaign-planning.
- Provide recommendations on various marketing and public relations opportunities and challenges identified by the team or management.
