**Your role**
- Are you a sharp evaluator of risk? Can you investigate complex solutions? Do you have specific experience leading or conducting credit risk audits?
- We're looking for a Credit Risk Auditor who can:
- conduct reviews and audits of (i) credit risk appetite, policies, governance and framework, and (ii) credit risk management for private and corporate clients, including lending against marketable securities, mortgages, structured lending, cash-flow based lending and derivatives (including limit setting, periodic monitoring, excess management, and quality of the credit documentation)
- provide practical, innovative, and value-added solutions to issues identified
- analyze and assess risks and barriers to delivery, assumed by both the business and support functions
- identify controls that are designed to address the risks and evaluate how effective they are
- monitor issue resolution, risk profile and developments within a specific area and provide input into our audit planning sessions

**Your team**
- You will be working in Group Internal Audit (GIA) Team in Singapore. GIA is an independent function that supports UBS in achieving its strategic, operational, financial and compliance objectives. We do this by assessing key processes as well as governance, risk management, and the control environment within all business divisions and Group Functions (GF) functions globally. We are independent in our work and report directly to the Chairman of the Board and the Audit Committee.

Our team, credit risk audit, has a global footprint and is mainly responsible for auditing credit risks in the second line of defense. In your role, you will be covering the audits of credit risk appetite and credit risk management for private and corporate clients in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

**Your expertise**
- 5 years+ experience in audit within the financial industry; this experience could have been gained at a consulting firm or in an internal audit function
- strong knowledge of private and corporate lending activities, strong analytical skills and quantitative approach to problem solving
- able to quickly understand complex processes and challenge the status quo, identify risks and inadequacies in procedures
- willingness to keep up with industry, regulatory developments and learn new concepts and methods
- ability to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders
- risk focused and capable of using data analytics to gain insights into limit setting and monitoring, excess management, data quality and reporting
- reliable when working on your own, with sound judgment for when to escalate issues
- fluent in English with excellent verbal and written skills; additionally, fluency in additional languages would be an asset
