Credit Admin, Assistant Manager

Our client, a regional bank, is hiring a Credit Admin (Assistant Manager) to ensure that credit facilities are executed in accordance with credit approval.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Examine customers' utilization requests relating to bilateral and syndicated loan credit faciilties, and ensure timely facility limits and all conditions precedent are met before loan disbursement.
- Timey execution of all loan drawdown, rollover and other operational instructions to busienss support units, and to follow up, where necessary.
- Perform daily credit control tasks, including monitoring of credit limits and exposures.
- Lead and train junior staff in the team.
- Preparation of local, regulatory and head office reports.
- Ensure proper storage of transactional documents.
- Take on projects, job rotations and other duties as assigned by Management
- Monitor and ensure receipt of insurance cover for collaterals held by the bank.
**KEY COMPETENCIES**:
- At least 3 years of working experience in credit and loan administration.
- Experience in trade finance, financial institution products and facility agent experience will be an added advantage.
- Prior hands-on experience in preparation of regulatory reports will be a bonus.
- Good understanding of credit risk, and the legal aspects of lending business.
