**Responsibilities**:
- Purchase goods, materials, components or service in line with specified cost, quality, delivery target.
- Ensure continuous supply of required goods and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operation.
- Research and evaluate areas of opportunity and reduce cost where possible.
- Assess and evaluate supplier and undertake performance reviews to ensure contract compliance and manage performance improvement.
- Negotiate contracts, improved prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilising negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods.
- Ensure On-Time Delivery and Quality products from supplier. Work with Quality team to improve the quality standards of the supplier.
**Requirements**:
- At least 3 Year(s) of relevant working experience in manufacturing environment.
- Well versed in ERP system (Navision, SAP etc.).
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Experience in purchasing technical commodity like machining items/sheet metal parts will be an added advantage.
