**SCOPE OVERVIEW**
- Routine procedural issues and identifying and assimilating new and revised standards.
- Program structure and linesetting, gain an understanding of the company's capacities, the use of the reinsurance placement, rating and pricing, analysis of coverages, terms and conditions, value analysis and documentation practices.
- Monitor premiums, costs and claims ratios per contract and take corrective measures if necessary to ensure long term profitability.
- To maintain an up-to-date knowledge of company underwriting standards, policy forms and coverages, and loss prevention practices.
- Executing Underwriting activities and strategies to achieve both top and bottom line in accordance with prevailing company’s underwriting and treaty guidelines.
- Executing an efficient end to end underwriting process and ensuring that the policies are issued in compliance with underwriting guidelines and MAS requirements on data Entry and Accuracy, underwriting details and acceptance limit.
- Providing technical advice and support to business units in the respective class of business.
- Negotiate policy terms and coverages to align with the company directives.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- At least 4 years of technical underwriting experience in P&C, Financial Lines and Bond LOB
- Insurance certification ComGI & ACII will be a distinct advantage
- Meticulous, have an eye on detail
- Prefer fast and diverse environment
- Competent in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
