**Short Description**:
Do you have a sharp market acumen and strong passion in investment management? As part of the expansion plan for the Investment Office of SUSS, the leading university of lifelong learning and social good, a new position has been created to seek an astute and highly driven Portfolio Manager to assist in shaping and managing SUSS’s investment programme to generate steady long-term returns for its Endowment Fund to support the current and future needs of the university.
- Conduct research on investment opportunities across various asset classes, including public and private assets, and work with relevant parties to recommend appropriate strategies and implementation plans.
- Monitor global financial market developments to recommend any tactical asset allocation changes as part of portfolio management or de-risking strategies where appropriate
- Bring, maintain and develop relationships with the industry, including investment managers across all asset classes, consultants, endowment peers and other institutional investors for knowledge sharing and learning about best practices
- Develop a systematic and structured framework to source, screen and evaluate investment managers
- Manage the due diligence process and activities across assigned asset classes
- Develop internal dashboard to track portfolio performance and risk metrics actively as part of portfolio monitoring and management
- Formulate and review investment policies to ensure they remain relevant and updated
- Ensure that investment management, custody, reporting and related services comply with internal policies and guidelines
- Review performance and service levels of external fund managers, consultant, custodian and other service providers where appropriate
- Prepare reports, presentations and updates to Board of Trustees, Investment Committee and SUSS Management

**Job Requirements**:
Education/Experience
- Bachelor degree or higher in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, computer science, data analytics or other relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- CFA Charterholder preferred
