Roles & Responsibilities

This position requires the Wedding & Events Executive to coordinate all requirements for various wedding events and drive sales for wedding catering and wedding planning. He/She is responsible for enforcing the terms of the wedding sales contract and communicates the needs and expectations of the client to the operations team to ensure successful execution of the wedding event and client’s satisfaction.

**Requirements**:
We are looking to hire a passionate, energetic and detail-oriented wedding planner / events executive to assist clients in coordinating and executing successful weddings. The event executive responsibilities includes obtaining quotes from vendors, ensuring that budget changes are incorporated into clients’ wedding plans accordingly, and collecting payments from clients for the services provided. You should also be able to create a time-line of all wedding-day activities for each client to ensure that everything remains on schedule.

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Ability to obtain accurate information from clients during the consultation process and drive sales
- Manage wedding projects independently
- Provide clients with an array of venue options, entertainment, catering and decoration options
- Liaison with customers & assist in coordination of events
- Supporting event services operations in setup prior to event/ actual day.
- Establish & maintain rapport with customers and any assistance they might require
- Attain sales target set by General Manager, client management and conversion from leads given.
- Schedule meetings with clients and meet up with vendors
- Trainee will be able to monitor wedding day activities to ensurance the wedding run smoothly

**Competencies**:

- Conducting initial consultations with clients to discuss the wedding packages available, the type of wedding desired, and their wedding budget.
- Conferring with clients to discuss wedding details, including venue options as well as entertainment, catering, and decoration preferences.
- Scheduling meetings with clients to tour suitable wedding venues and meet with vendors, such as florists, photographers, caterers, bakers, and invitation designers.
- Arranging for necessary wedding supplies and equipment to be transported to the wedding venue in a timely manner and overseeing setup of event.
- Monitoring all wedding-day activities to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

**Working Time**
- 5.5 day work week (Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm) | Saturday: 8:30am-12:30pm
