The IDL Global Tech Strategic Alignment Specialist will play a key role in supporting the execution of engagement and alignment strategies and ensuring consistent messaging across various channels. This position requires a strong attention to detail, hands-on approach, strong organizational skills, a creative mind and the ability to collaborate effective with cross-functional teams across various timezones.
**Areas of focus**:
- Develop and produce engaging content for various communication channels and ensure content is aligned with brand guidelines and conveys key messages effectively.
- Work closely with Segment and Solution teams to gather information and insights and pull together the team’s key achievements for communication initiatives such as Newsletters, Townhalls, Webinars etc.
- Work closely with the Senior Manager to implement communication plans and strategies.
- Ensuring alignment and consistency of messaging
- Maintain and update the IDL Global Tech Intranet and content repository.
- Oversee and maintain the IDL Global Tech and Segment mailing lists, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Manage and update organizational charts to reflect changes in personnel, departments, and reporting structures.
- Maintain and coordinate the IDL Global Tech team calendar
- Craft compelling and engaging stories in a clear and concise manner to captivate and connect with diverse audiences (e.g. People News, Newsletters)
- Support the Strategic Alignment Lead to drive creative strategies and synthesise complex technical knowledge into Business Language, executed in creative ways to the right stakeholders
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 3-5years of experience in communications, content creation, storytelling or a related role.
- Adept at crafting compelling and engaging stories through various mediums, demonstrating a deep understanding of how to captivate and connect with diverse audiences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on composing clear and concise messages with the ability to weave narratives into communication strategies
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, understanding that storytelling is a collaborative effort that requires input from various perspectives.
- Previous experience with a communications agency is advantageous, providing an opportunity to leverage creative storytelling techniques in diverse settings.
