Singapore ON SITE ALIGNMENT PTE. LTD. Full time

On Site Alignment is specialized in alignment and installation of all critical rotating equipment onboard of ships. Besides this, we also do vibration measurement and analysis, stern tube repairs and dimensional surveys.

From our Singapore and Shanghai office, we operate mainly in Singapore (yards/anchorage) and the Asian region. We have worldwide 40 employees (10-15 in Singapore/Shanghai) in a team of highly skilled and dedicated engineers who believe in ‘making things happen’ and where communication is key.

We are looking for a **Service coordinator **for our marine service company based in Singapore.

As a Service coordinator, you
- Are involved in all aspects of our service jobs from preparing quotes to sending out service reports.
- Support the engineers in the planning, preparation and execution of jobs and help hands on onboard if necessary.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers and their agents and are familiar with the local legislative system and process into shipyards.
- Do admin support like prepare service quotes, project invoices and follow up on service reports.
- Keep track of calibration and validation of our measurement tools.
- Any other duties assigned by Management.
- Report to the Managing Director.

- Have a ‘can do’ mentality, are proactive and able to work in fast paced, 24/7 environment.
- Are a team player with strong organizational and communication skills who likes to be in the center of the operations.
- Are able to prioritize between various tasks.
- Have a sharp eye for detail and identify nuances that contribute to efficient, effective and safe business operations.
- Have a strong technical background in the marine industry.
- Have a completed BSc education.
- Have a ood command of English and some understanding of Mandarin.
- Are proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Autocad.
- Knowledge of shaft alignment is an advantage.
- Ship repair business requires a 24/7 mentality.
