**What the role is**
- The Enterprise Policy team oversees a broad suite of policy tools to support committed enterprises to transform and scale up, catering to the entire range of local enterprises, from heartland shops to established champions. We work closely with Enterprise Singapore to co-develop strategies and programmes to support enterprises in deepening capabilities, innovation, and internationalisation. We also design interventions to support enterprises’ access to financing, talent, as well as partnership opportunities. We champion evidence-based policymaking, and value officers who bring an entrepreneurial mindset.

**What you will be working on**
- As a policy officer, you will spend your time: a. Analysing data; b. Conducting industry engagements to gather feedback and market sentiment; c. Weighing critical trade-offs and considering the needs of different stakeholders; d. Designing effective and compelling policy interventions; e. Evaluating policies with a data-driven approach. Besides working on issues, you will also need to work with a wide range of partners across Ministries, Government agencies, and the private sector, and engage them effectively to achieve a common goal. You will have ample opportunities to work directly with the Ministry’s Senior Management and Political Office Holders.

**What we are looking for**
- Keen interest in public policy formulation and implementation - Strong critical thinking and synthesis skills - Excellent writing and verbal communication skills - Excellent interpersonal and networking skills; confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholders - Able to work both independently and as part of a team - Interest in, or work experience involving, data analytics and economic theory a plus
