**Minimum qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in software engineering or related technical field.
- Experience working with Java or C++.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- 3 years of experience in Software Engineering in distributed backend systems.
- Ability to take initiative and propose solutions when faced with hard, ambiguous software engineering problems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teams within and outside of the core team and across sites.
