Job Purpose
- Working as part of proxy Team, this senior network(proxy) engineer will be required to lead the BAU and proxy project. He/she need to provide guidance to the junior team member to develop both technical and soft skill.
- Provide the proxy strategy for the bank and ensure secure, stable, and scalable design. Automate the proxy policy management and streamline the existing process.

Job Responsibilities
- Assists Level 2/3 Support Engineers during problem determination and resolution and be the escalation point of all proxy issue.
- Evaluate and define the global standard of proxy hardware and software version to standardize the global infrastructure.
- Manage the proxy vendors to design, architect and operate the proxy infrastructure to provide stable production environment.
- Coordinate with information security governance team to align IT infrastructure with established standards.
- Ensures system compliance with all established information security policies
- Performs technical assessment of any non-well defined or complex proxy change requests prior to implementation.
- Create proxy reporting by using script in regular base to clean-up the unused objects/rules.
- Planning and recommending overall improvements in proxy management including the capacity planning to avoid any potential issue.
- Advanced troubleshooting production problems with RCA and fault diagnosis
- Implements changes to proxy infrastructure hardware to correct errors or enhance functionality
- Develops processes for improving operational efficiencies, as well as identifies/implements automation tools for existing manual processes.
- Prepares technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals as documentation of network design and operational requirements.
- Ready to work in shifts including public holidays

Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 10 years proxy operations and/or management role. Hands-on on the proxy management and strong leadership role in management proxy infrastructure of banking critical environment.
- Education: Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering or science
- Certification: CCNA, ITIL Foundation (Preferred but not mandatory)
- Have a solid understanding of Forti Proxys, Squid proxy, HTTP/2.0
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal communications skills.
- Ability to work independently as a team player.
