Business System Analyst Lead (BSA Lead) is responsible for planning, leading and delivering one or multiple modules in a software development project with quality, within scope and to ensure deliverables are on time and conform to processes and standards meeting customer’s requirements.

**Responsibilities**

1. Provide domain expertise & focus on payment/securities domain.

2. Propose alternative solutions and technologies to improve and bring about high-quality system solutions.

3. Ensure that the resulting IT solution meets the needs of the defined business requirements.

4. Plan and lead requirement gathering and design.

5. Clarify requirement and manage scope against baseline.

6. Participate in developing and reviewing Functional Specifications/Use Cases

7. Participate in developing test plan, reviewing Test Specifications and test results.

8. Lead testing team to conduct test plan and when required, conduct the testing together with team.

9. Provide domain/functional guidance to software engineers in delivering in accordance with requirement

10. Lead and co-ordinate various testing phases, managing internal and external stakeholders.

**Requirement**

1. Hands-on experience in implementing (from start to finish) at least one of the following transaction processing platforms for multiple markets (preferably ASEAN, AU, HK):

- domestic payment system
- cross border payment system
- securities middle / back office system (for post trade, settlement and custody)

2. Hands-on experience in handling ISO 20022 message standards for payment (PACS), cash management (CAMT) and securities (SESE, SEEV, SEMT)

3. Familiar with payment business lifecycles - from initiation, to clearing, settlement, accounting and reporting (advice and statement)

4. Familiar with government securities business lifecycles - from issuance, auction, allotment, settlement (primary and secondary markets), collateral management, repo, re-issuance, corporate actions, redemption (full or partial)

5. Demonstratable traits in business analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting.

6. Demonstratable track record in solutioning for transaction processing systems

7. Articulate in thought process and oral/written communication.

8. Familiar with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

9. Ability to produce specifications for documentations and implementations.

10. Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, creative with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including strong persuasive techniques.

11. Ability to lead, develop and maintain respectful and trusting relationship.

12. Proficient in written and spoken English.
