**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:
At a daily basis, the Data Analyst will develop & be responsible for BRS Group’s Drybulk Research freight

& commodity database(s) & models. Ensure the smooth publication of the BRS Drybulk Monthly

Newsletter. You will be working alongside with other analyst(s) to cover the outlook of Iron ore / Coal /

Grains in the Drybulk Freight market. Other minor bulk commodities would be covered from time to time

depending on commercial request(s). In addition, you will also be keeping track of vessel supply

(deliveries/orderbook /demolition) and freight prices. Lastly, we offer an open & collaborative working

environment whereby each Analyst is encouraged to take initiative, to develop & take ownership of

greenfield projects that can bring BRS Drybulk Research to the next level.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Development and maintenance of various analytical models relating to freight and commodities

Identify maritime and/or commodity data sources to bolster BRS database

Developing an in-house screen to facilitate real-time information exchange within BRS Group

Provide our broker(s) & clients with up-to-date data/information on Freight & Commodity market(s)

Involved & support team members in preparing presentations, delivered to key clients / management

Developed and maintained BRS Drybulk Monthly Newsletter with a detailed approach

Work effectively with the Research Team across different offices to meet deliverables

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:
Fresh graduate(s) are strongly encouraged to apply

Degree in Business, Business Analytics / Maritime Business / Trading or related areas

Proficiency in Microsoft Office / BI- based business tools needed. Python / SQL will be advantageous

Knowledge of the freight and commodity sectors useful

Ability to work effectively with management and colleagues across various offices to meet targets in a

fast-paced deadline-driven environment

Self-starter, team player with very good time management and quality control skills
