**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles including trucks and construction equipment.
- **Diagnose and repair electrical wiring faults and vehicle air conditioning systems**(this is a mandatory).
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure all vehicles comply with safety standards.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and supervisors to ensure timely completion of work.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.

**Required Qualifications & Skills**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
- Must have strong skills in diagnosing wiring and electrical issues.
- Must be proficient in air conditioning system repairs for heavy vehicles.
- Proven knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, and hydraulics.
- Trade Certificate or equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license (preferably with heavy vehicle endorsement).
