Our client is a fintech company with a suite of digital asset investment management solutions for institutional, corporate, and high-net-worth investors in Asia. With offices in Singapore and Hong Kong, Great South Gate brings over 100 years of institutional investment, trading, legal, strategy, technology, and operations experience from top global firms such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, UBS, HSBC, BAML, Nomura, and McKinsey.

They’re looking for a Mobile Engineer with at least 3 years of hands-on experience developing new features on iOS and Android - apps using React Native.

As a hands-on developer, play a key role in the engineering capability, coding quality software, aligning to the engineering standards, and deploying frequently.

**What you will be working on**:

- Collaborate with the product team to make sure requirements for our external and internal clients are fit for purpose, ensuring stories are ‘dev-ready’.
- Be comfortable engineering in a scalable, secure, and composable architecture using constructs such as event-based streaming, microservices, open-source software, containerization, and native cloud capabilities.
- Be security-focused, be part of driving security by design thinking early on (ISO 27001 compliant), to ensure our systems and data are safe, with effective controls in place to constantly test and validate through our delivery lifecycle and external threat management.
- Help build and run best practices across engineering, test automation, and SRE, focussing on software quality, scalability, and resilience.
- Leverage and evolve a stable path to production using automation, native cloud capabilities, and DevSecOps tooling.
- Ensure we’re fit to run our platform 24/7, leveraging the best diagnostic tooling to enable monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Be constantly customer and product-focused, thinking of service quality and exceptional customer experience to ensure stories are dev-ready and fit for delivery.

**What you will bring**
- Desire and passion to be part of a highly focused, ambitious team that delivers amazing digital products and technology.
- 3 years of experience as a Mobile Engineer in a digitally progressive industry, with a proven track record of development, automation, and software delivery.
- Experience building and continuously improving technology platforms that are scalable, resilient, and maintainable.
- A pragmatic and balanced approach to quality software delivery and value-driven client centricity.
- Demonstrable experience with Lean-Agile ways of working - SCRUM, Kanban, XP, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
