**CreditSights is seeking a Head of Asia Strategy based out of our Singapore office.**

CreditSights is the leading independent research provider, whose mission is to originate research which resonates with and is relevant to the most sophisticated participants in the market. The Asia Strategist will play an integral role on the Global Credit Strategy team, which publishes thematic research on the US, Euro, EM and Asia corporate credit markets (Investment Grade, High Yield and Distressed).

- As a lead Asia Strategist, you will build a high-profile Asia research franchise and relationships with market participants across the buy
- and sell-side.

**We’ll Count on You To**:

- Engage with portfolio managers and other decision makers by providing thematic recommendations (based on macroeconomic trends, central bank policy, geopolitical risks and market sentiment) and specific trade ideas that fit a range of investment mandates.
- Own the risk call for the Asia Pacific region including recommendations across markets, geographies, ratings and the curve. Closely track and analyze market and macro data to develop your own expectations of risks and outlooks.
- Work closely with the analysts to convey strategy recommendations and ensure that analyst recommendations are relevant to clients. Craft comprehensive sector strategy by fully understanding the main sector narratives and key single name credit stories.
- Maintain a regular schedule of publishing strategy content and of client engagement through conference calls, in person meetings, presentations and conference participation.
- Work with the Global Strategy Team to understand the strategy calls in the US, Europe and EM and to ensure consistency in market/economic expectations and recommendations.

**What You Need to Have**:

- 8-10 years of prior experience in Asia-focused credit research, economics, investment banking or debt capital markets with a demonstrated interest in financial markets, specifically investment research.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a desire to work in a team environment.
- Attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and ability to work independently.

**What Would Make You Stand Out**:

- Grad degree, CFA Level 1 or higher, and experience with Python.
- Ability to work independently, use technology, and leverage the collective expertise of colleagues across teams at CreditSights.
