**Job Summary**:
**Essential Job Functions**:

- Conduct in-depth primary research to identify attractive stocks according to firm’s investment process, with specific responsibilities for Chinese financials and industrials sectors, and the global emerging market technology sector. Use financial modelling techniques to project a company’s operating and financial performance and stock valuation.
- Participate in company earnings calls, management meetings and industry conferences across Asia when required.
- Communicate investment recommendations to the investment team and ongoing stock research.
- Contribute to team monitoring of macro and political developments in global emerging markets.Support quantitative aspects of the investment process through quantitative modelling, data analysis and coding.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Strong academic credentials, including CFA.
- Minimum 15 years of experience with Chinese equities and global emerging technology sector.
- Experience/qualifications on ESG analysis.
- Strong accounting, quantitative and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Advanced MS skills (Excel, Word, etc).
- Working knowledge of Bloomberg and Factset.
- Experience modelling and coding with regards to quantitative screening tools.**Skills and Behaviours**:
