Formative Search has partnered up with one of the world’s most successful energy consulting firms to secure key talents in the Singapore office as the business continues to grow.

We are looking for a Energy Analyst/Modeller to join the team. You should have experience with developing energy market models and have strong quantitative skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the development and implementation of optimization techniques
- Work closely with cross functional teams to extract insights from modelling
- Continuously improve the modelling team operations
- Support and mentor junior team members

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other related quantitative field
- At least 2-3 years of quantitative field, or in mathematical optimization
- Proficiency in at least one programming language - Python, Matlab, C++, R, Java
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Strong interest in energy / decarbonisation

Bonus:

- Plus point if you have a relevant PhD
- Experience managing junior analysts
