Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Edge Team)
As a Senior Software QA Engineer in our new Edge innovation group,
What you’ll achieve
- Accelerate the delivery and overall improve the quality of products by developing and executing test plans that ensure the best possible customer experience
- Have the passion for developing and supporting the growth of next-generation software architectures, show enthusiasm towards learning new technologies, and inspire innovation within the team
- Manage complex, cross-functional Program Increments, and Agile Deliveries. Be comfortable discussing / explaining - technical decisions and trade-offs with Engineering and Management teams
- Work closely with cross-functional groups including internal stakeholders (Product Managers, Engineers, Architects, etc.), and external customers/vendors to formalize program and project testing requirements

Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (master’s degree preferred) or relevant experience
- At least 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance/Testing, Automation framework design (desirable), or related experience. Experience writing test cases in Rust, Golang, Java, or Python
- Experience building and executing automated scripts or experience with automation and performance tools e.g., Selenium/Web driver, Cucumber, Postman, Karate, JMeter, LoadRunner
- Ability to analyze requirements, develop a test strategy and test plan, create and execute manual and automated test cases, track defects and report results. Experience with Atlassian’s suite of products (JIRA, Stash, Confluence, etc.)
Desirable Requirements
- Certifications such as Certified Software Testing Professional or Certified Software Quality Analyst will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus
