The Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) and Fire Safety Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining the organisation's WSH procedures to promote a safe working environment. He/She must possess a relevant qualification recognised by MOM and registered with SCDF to take on the job.

Key responsibilities:
1. Analyse data on WSH performance, conditions and practices

2. Carry out WSH compliance inspections

3. Conduct WSH incident and accident investigations, propose corrective and preventive measures and address root cause of incident.

4. Review, identify areas for improvement and implement Workplace Safety and Health Management System and Risk Management plan

5. Develop, review and manage risk assessment and other related documents (e.g. SWP, PTW, etc)

6. Ensure compliance with WSH Act and Fire Safety Act.

7. Prepare and execute Emergency Response plan for company's premises

8. Conduct Emergency Preparedness and Response drills and ensure maintenance of response equipment.

9. Conduct fire drills and table-top exercises within premises together with the Safety Committee.

10. Train, coordinate and supervise Emergency Response Team in first aid, fire-fighting and evacuation in the event of fire or other related emergencies

11. Conduct safety induction training to staff and subcontractors.

12. Coordinate external audits (e.g. BizSAFE, Risk Management, ISO45001, etc)

13. Act as point-of-contact to local authorities for all matters related to workplace safety and health and fire safety

14. Provide advise on matters pertaining to occupational health and safety, fire safety as well as environmental management

15. Submit monthly and yearly reports to The Management.

Pay: $3,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
