At A*STAR Graduate Academy (A*GA), our vision is to make A*STAR a global nexus for scientific talent. Through a comprehensive suite of undergraduate, PhD and post-doctoral scholarships, A*GA supports top-class education at both local and overseas universities/ institutions to help passionate individuals realise their full potential. We also identify budding scientific talents through extensive outreach programmes and internships to nurture them into future scientific talents.
This role is under the Shared Services (SS) branch, which is a centralized hub to support administrative and operational requirements for A*GA's scholarships and internships. The SS branch aims to deliver our work objectives in the most efficient and effective way.
**What to expect on your responsibilities?**
- Train both insource and outsource team members on recruitment and onboarding workstream.
- Provide support for the recruitment and onboarding workstreams of A*STAR scholarship programmes, data collation, database management and planning of scholarships’ selection process.
- Manage and attend to queries from the supervisors who require interns and use the student admin automated system.
- Assist the Head of SS in reviewing and enhancing the recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Participate as a member in any digitalisation project such as UAT for any system enhancements, including data cleansing.
- Support any other duties/projects assigned by the Head of SS, who is also your Reporting Officer.
**How to Succeed in your role?**
- Preferably with 5 to 8 years of admin experience
- Self-motivated, pro-active and resourceful
- Meticulous and well-organised
- Customer-centric and deliver quality results
- A great team player who has good interpersonal skills
