**Key Responsibilities**
- Conducting KYC work, Wecheck, Conflict check and AML assessment for new clients during the onboarding process.
- Mitigation and Resolution of any issues identified during AML assessment.
- Reviewing acceptance documents for listed and high-risk clients before GIAC approval.
- Administering annual independence testing and declarations of independence for staff.
- Checking the independence of new joiners.
- Managing the process for gifts and hospitality declaration.
- Providing ad hoc advice on matters related to onboarding, independence, ethics, and anti-money laundering.
- Filing STR (Suspicious Transaction Report) to relevant authorities.
- Reviewing basic legal documents and updating the firm's policies based on regulatory changes and updates to the code.
- Conducting regular testing to ensure compliance with the firm's policies.
- Preparing information for reporting to the group and regulatory agencies.
- Coordinating with engagement teams for regulatory inspections from regulatory agencies (e.g., ACRA/ISCA).
- Facilitating annual firmwide risk management training on EP 100, ACRA code, EP 200 recent changes.
- Firm-wide risk monitoring exercises and conducting annual ethics and independence training.

- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in an international public accounting firm or bank.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, audit standards and accounting principles.
