Senior Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to lead and strengthen our organization's cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance programs. The role involves developing and implementing security policies, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage security risks across systems and processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI DSS).
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and threats.
- Lead audits and assessments related to cybersecurity controls and compliance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align security measures with business objectives.
- Provide guidance and training on cybersecurity best practices.
- Oversee third-party risk management and vendor security evaluations.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on governance, risk, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Experience in managing and responding to security incidents.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.
