**Role**: Senior/Principal Engineer, Systems Engineering Team leader (CE Systems)
**Responsibilities**:
- Tracks, monitor and evaluate the performance of team members.
- Hire talents and adequately staff the projects, evaluate skill gaps, organize trainings, manage talent development and retention.
- Manage external sub-contractors to cover engineering capacity demands that cannot be covered internally
- Ensure employee capability management by guiding & driving employees to operational excellence and ensuring individual growth of employees to build high performance team.
- Technical coaching of team members and help the team to integrate to organization.
- Guide and support team incase of any escalations
- Ensure strong collaboration with all disciplines to ensure maximum reuse and efficiency.
- Ensure System standards and processes are applied in the projects.
- Report the status to head of department, actively manage risks and perform timely escalations.
- Support acquisition of new business and participate in project milestones reviews.
**Qualifications**:
**Requirements**:
- Master or bachelor’s degree in electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering or related disciplines with minimum 5 years’ experience in embedded project management or people management.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities in leading people in one of the engineering disciplines
- Experience in coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution and process good emotional intelligence.
- Problem solving skills and experience in managing stakeholders.
- Strong in verbal and written communication, presentation, and moderation skills.
- Automotive experience, knowledge in Automotive SPICE, Functional Safety Management (ISO26262) and Security & Privacy Management will be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge in System engineering with familiarity to requirements engineering, project management, system life cycle processes and system architecture & design will be an advantage.
