**Mission**
- Analysing corporate credits in defined sectors and countries to formulate bond investment recommendations from investment-grade and high-yield issuers.
- Presenting investment opportunities and monitoring credit risks of names under coverage list for investment platform;
- Providing bottom-up credit strategy views to the CIO office.- Responsibilities- Initiating bond coverage and monitoring recommendations on a selected list of issuers based in South-East Asia-, based on the analyst’s convictions, current AuM and CIO views.
- Providing insights on sector trends and issuer dynamics in collaboration with existing resources to develop unique sector expertise and ownership.
- Helping the CIO office to strengthen Asia PWM’s view on credit positioning.
- Presenting the most significant recommendations, highest convictions and sector views to PWM’s clients and key stakeholders.
- The job requires monitoring and making written recommendations on issuers (buy, hold and sell) and bonds for the benefit of DPM and Advisory clients, as well as writing thematic and directional notes on sectors and countries that are under your coverage
- Covering around + 40 core issuers and key sectors closely and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to create a process to build a secondary coverage universe made of issuers that are deemed investable.
- Closely follow the development of macro, regulatory and industrial policies of key countries / markets to as part of the research process.
- There will be regular interactions with internal teams (both investment and distribution) that would require you to make presentations and justify investment decisions or recommendations.

**Your profile**:

- Master’s degree in Economics or Finance.
- Fluent in English - another Asian language would be a plus.
- In-depth understanding of sectorial and financial analysis
- Experience of bond and bond index analysis.
- Experience of covenant analysis.
- Knowledge of credit-spread products.
- Strong & proven onshore knowledge and/or analysis of Chinese credits
- Presentation skills in both large and one-on-one formats.
- Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint and Bloomberg functions as part of the credit research process
