**Overview**:
Pacific Carriers Limited (PCL), a member of the Kuok Group, is seeking a talented and strategic minded Manager of Corporate Communications to join our team. As the Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our corporate branding, relations, and communication programs. This position works closely with the CEO and Management of Pacific Carriers and collaborates with the Corporate Communications lead of the Kuok Maritime Group. This position offers a blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution, making it ideal for a proactive individual who enjoys developing initiatives and seeing them through to fruition.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive branding strategy for PCL to enhance its identity and promote a positive corporate and employer brand.
- Develop and oversee external and internal communication strategies and content, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across various channels such as mainstream media, LinkedIn, corporate website, Facebook and internal platforms. This includes collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to gather information, conduct interviews, and draft engaging and persuasive written content.

- Oversee the rollout of internal and external publications, such as newsletters, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Prepare press releases, CEO’s speeches and official external speaking engagements, maintaining a consistent and professional tone.
- Coordinate internal townhall programs and team bonding activities to foster engagement.
- Manage and execute crisis communication policies and processes, including developing communication plans and responding to media and internal stakeholders.
- Measure and analyse the effectiveness of communication initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Provide support for other communication-related projects and activities, including exhibitions and trade fairs.
- Bachelor's degree in Mass communications, or relations, or a related field
- Experience in the maritime industry is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in corporate communications, with a strong focus on developing effective branding and communication strategies and crisis communication management.
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, act as designated spokesperson with media as and when required
- Proactive and strategic thinker with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaborative and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

This is a 1-year contract role with the possibility of conversion to permanent employment, contingent upon satisfactory performance.
