An exciting leadership position prevails with our client, a renowned brand with significant banking and financial services footprints.
As a VP/Team Head, you will lead the Quality Assurance team in overseeing controls across the brand and conducting independent testing of monitoring and surveillance work. In this capacity, you will serve as the primary point of contact for Quality Assurance, ensuring strict adherence to legal and regulatory requirements across the Asia Pacific region while continuously enhancing controls. You will lead the Quality Assurance team in identifying potential issues within the surveillance program, proactively mitigating risks, and conducting investigations as needed.
As a leader, you will also be pivotal in presenting findings and recommendations to senior management. Additionally, you will lead working groups aimed at enhancing controls and the overall quality of the trade surveillance program.
To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 10 years of audit or compliance experience, with a strong background in monitoring and surveillance. Your university qualifications should be in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Law, with solid audit experience in the banking sector. Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated capacity for sound project management capabilities, analytical and problem-solving proficiency, along with the ability to exercise sound judgment are desirable traits.
