This position forms part of the Asia Distribution Centre of Spirax Sarco Pte Limited. The Senior Planner position will be directly responsible for the Asia Distribution Centre Planning and Inventory Management activities. This includes ensuring timely availability of inventory as well as the stock replenishments, and excess stock management. The Senior Planner will cover management from ensuring product availability for NPI (New Product Introduction) to Phase-outs/Product Discontinuation.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To manage stocks by maintaining an Ideal Inventory Coverage level by using an inventory management tool. Control potential sales at risk stock, Surplus stock, and non-stock available value
- Responsible for ensuring on-time and optimum inventory and timely replenishment of inventory to internal and external customers so as to meet customer requirement delivery date
- Issue purchase order to supplier timely with correct shipping method, follow up supplier and freight forwarder, expedite the schedule, delay shipment, etc. making a decision based on a defined escalation process
- Develop and maintain finished goods inventory targets for the stock item based on Ideal Inventory target, service level objectives, and replenishment lead times
- Minimize capital costs by identifying opportunities to decrease excess & surplus inventory while delivering against service level objectives
- Work closely with regional inter-company to support all new product launches and product transitions while achieving performance targets on the service level
- Provide analysis of key KPIs and financial data to identify performance, and logistics cost improvement opportunities and execute those initiatives
- Work with the global supply teams to address supply & lead time issues in a timely manner.
- Responsible for implementing an effective structure/mechanism to collaborate with global, regional, and local stakeholders
- Obtain excellence in perfect order fulfilment, cost leverage and sustained productivity, collaborative & innovative strategic partnerships, and continuous process improvements.
- Responsible for cycle count, stock take, credit note, and stock adjustment in Oracle E1 System.
- Back up for other team numbers where necessary
- All other duties as assigned by the manager

**Skills / Certifications**:

- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or Supply Chain. CSCP, CPIM training, and certification are a plus
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in planning and inventory management,
- Experience in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle JDE will be advantageous
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, Power BI
- Demonstrated track record of working with teams within complex, global, matrix organizations with a significant number of stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and business acumen
- Self-driven and able to work with little supervision
- Resourceful and results-oriented (driving to deadlines, financial targets, project goals, etc.)
- Demonstrated initiative through problem-solving and systematic thinking
