Ipran Manager

**About the role**:
TPG Telecom has been appointed as Singapore’s 4th mobile telecommunications network service provider and is currently building Singapore’s newest 5G mobile network.

The manager shall provide technical leadership to the IP team which is responsible for the design, implementation and operations of the IPRAN and IPCORE network. He or she will interact closely with other teams such as Mobile Core, RAN, Security, and external parties to assist in the development of the network architecture and engineering solution designs to support TPG’s dynamic business requirements.

**The key duties and responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to)**:

- Design, plan, and implement the network and operation to support the business plan and requirements.
- Ensure that the architecture and designs are innovative and cost-effective.
- Manage demands from projects and technology upgrades including recommendations for vendor tools and solutions.
- Manage the network lifecycle roadmap planning and implementation.
- Engage in network operations and management of network devices.
- Coaches and advises team members to accomplish project goals, to meet established schedules, and resolve technical/operational issues.
- Engage with network vendors on product and technology updates.
- Manage issues and risks and ensure timely escalation.
- Ensure all the network devices remains in good working condition.
- Configure, troubleshoot and resolve any issues within the network areas, including performance and capacity issues.
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma specialized in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- 8 years and more experience in ISP and telecommunication.
- Good working knowledge in IP, routing protocol, network design, MPLS, and QoS implementation.
- Ability to drive consensus and decisions
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Network management skills.
- Good interpersonal, communications and presentation skills.
- Ability to liaise with vendors, customers, partners, and external parties to achieve the business requirements and plans.
- Strong working knowledge of networking products.
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to details.
