Our client, a groundbreaking pioneer in transforming carbon waste into sustainable solutions, seeks an innovative Head of Logistics to lead and manage a new logistics division.

This role, situated in Singapore office, reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, providing a unique opportunity to establish a world-class logistics unit with a specific focus on renewable feedstocks and fuels, including Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and HVO.

**Primary Responsibilities:
**Establishment of the Logistics Function:
Create and oversee a recently formed logistics division within our client's organization, with an emphasis on establishing efficient processes and utilizing state-of-the-art tools and technologies.

Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with the company's growth plans, ensuring the efficient transport of renewable feedstocks and fuels.

**Supervision of Terminal Operations and Maritime Vessels:
Oversee terminal operations and manage relationships with terminal operators to ensure the secure and efficient handling of feedstocks and fuels.

Coordinate logistics related to maritime vessels, including vessel scheduling, loading/unloading, and compliance with maritime regulations.

**Logistics for Renewable Feedstocks and Fuels:
Manage logistics related to renewable feedstocks, covering nominations, inspections, bills of lading, and demurrage calculations.

Oversee the transportation and distribution of renewable fuels, with a specific focus on Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil).

**Chartering and Vessel Vetting:
Collaborate with chartering teams to ensure the efficient chartering of vessels for feedstock and fuel transportation.

Lead vessel vetting processes to ensure the safety and compliance of maritime vessels engaged in our client's logistics operations.

**Process Optimization and Tools Implementation:
Continuously enhance logistics processes and workflows, utilizing modern tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and visibility.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate logistics systems and data to improve decision-making.

**Qualifications and Requirements:
**Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is a plus.

**Professional Experience:
A documented history of holding senior logistics roles with extensive experience in terminal operations, maritime vessels, nominations, inspections, bills of lading, demurrage, chartering, and vessel vetting.

Profound knowledge of renewable feedstocks and renewable fuels, particularly Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and HVO.

**Regulatory Proficiency:
A strong understanding of international logistics regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.

**Leadership and Process Enhancement:
A background in establishing and leading logistics functions or teams, with a track record of success in building efficient processes and utilizing modern logistics tools.

**Technological Competency:
Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management software and systems.

**Analytical Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to optimize logistics operations.

**Interpersonal and Leadership:
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to build and mentor a high-performing logistics team.

**Adaptability:
Flexibility to work from the Singapore office and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
