**Purpose**

We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join our team in the role of Compliance Officer. This position offers a unique opportunity for exposure to the cryptocurrency industry. As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for performing KYC/CDD onboarding processes for both individual and institutional clients. Additionally, you will conduct transaction monitoring and sanctions screening.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct KYC/CDD on prospective clients during onboarding and periodically review existing clients.
- Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on prospective and existing clients when red flags are identified or triggered.
- Perform transaction monitoring and wallet monitoring, investigating unusual transactions and activities, and preparing suspicious transaction reports.
- Review new products/instruments from a compliance perspective.
- Manage document retention in accordance with applicable AML regulations and company policies.
- Update and draft compliance policies and procedures as required.
- Implement compliance procedures and systems to meet regulatory requirements.
- Conduct compliance training sessions to educate staff on their AML/CFT obligations, relevant regulatory developments, and compliance policies and procedures.
- Prepare regulatory reports as required.
- Stay updated on relevant regulatory news and updates, identifying potential legal, regulatory, sanctions, or reputational risks for the company.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in client onboarding and AML/CDD in a financial institution.
- ACAMS or ICA certification is a plus.
- In-depth understanding of the local regulatory framework established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
