Senior Specialist

**THE OPPORTUNITY**: Reporting to Associate Director Business Consulting, you will be responsible for planning, driving continuous improvement across the site with prioritized activities from the site portfolio. You are also responsible for utilizing end to end lean principles (operating system, management system, mindset/behavior and culture) to realize business benefits and goals aligned to the site Hoshin. Together with the MPS toolkit, you are expected to effectively utilize HPO skills/ knowledge to ensure proper change management and improvement sustainability. Besides, you will also drive to develop competency by deploying self-learning, performing activities and coaching to the function to achieve True North MPS y building deep MPS and HPO capabilities. The team members are envisioned as future coachers to the site for MPS and HPO related competency. You are also responsible for supporting assigned IPT/COE improvement activities in these areas. Besides, you will be partnering and be accountable with the IPT/COE Leaders/Leads/SME to delivering sustainable results for these activities. **WHAT YOU WILL DO**: **Manufacturing Excellence** - Supports Senior Manager, MPS on KPI management with the site portfolio and ensures alignment to site Hoshin goals for CI Projects - Leads site wide improvement project (initiative or project lead) responsible for supporting the program lead aimed at achieving business goals for the program A3 - Process steward for the site. Senior Manager, MPS focuses on end to end MPS execution (operating systems, management systems, mindsets/behaviors and cultures) - Owner of MPS standards and ensuring harmonized standards are met across site. The incumbent is to diligently maintain the site standards and ensure there is no deviation from standards without this incumbent approval. Expect to utilize MPS toolkit (e.g. MPS assessment) to re-align site standards and establish action targets - You are Lean expert, with in-depth skills and knowledge in MPS/HPO tools, techniques, and standards. He/She is to own core MPS SME knowledge area/s and continuously develop deep knowledge utilizing the MPS-SR Competency Matrix and the Dreyfus Competency Model - Leverages regional MPS-SR experts as coachers to continue to build deep MPS knowledge. Also, be competent coachers to functional personnel to continuously develop MPS skills and knowledge across site - Supports MPS COE as key people development platform for future site lean leaders tied to Talent Management Program- Support assigned IPT/COE with the following focused areas: - Value Stream Mapping - Kaizen event - IPT objectives & portfolio - Problem solving coaching & competency build - Kata deployment & daily kata, Kata AG & daily Kata routine - Supports regional initiative as needed, be coacher to the support site and partners with the site to transfer competency and skill as necessary - Leverages regional MPS expertise and transfer best practice knowledge from other regional sites to Singapore. Accelerate MPS knowledge with the best practice sharing. **Financial Stewardship** - Supports Senior Manager, MPS (M2) in development of site Profit Plan (i.e. review, develop standards and budgets, track performance for all financial short and long term objectives) - Lead continuous improvement initiatives realizing cost targets aligned with site Hoshin - Liaising with cost A3 CoEs on cost improvement alignment, realizing A3 targets and track improvement progress, wherever is applicable. **Quality / SHE Stewardship** Quality Stewardship - Ensures all projects and lean activities are completed with adherence to cGMP, with particular focus on appropriate change controls. Safety, Health and Environment - Ensures that all daily activities are carried out in accordance with EHS requirements. - Demonstrates and promotes EHS leadership behaviors and engages employees and contractors at all levels on EHS issues. **People Excellence** - Role model with MPS & HPO elements, understands and exhibits all of the mindset & behaviors 100% of the time - MPS Expert and coachers to assists operations and functions in up up-skilling, coaching the "˜HOW' - Accountable for his/her own personal & professional development - Able to Be Big and stand up for what is right even when it creates discomfort for them or the feedback recipient "“ this includes people at all levels in the organization - Deploys the learning principles of 10% by Training, 50% by Doing and 40% by Coaching.
