We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with a strong background in App Engine development to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a hands-on technologist who also thrives in a leadership capacity—guiding junior developers, setting best practices, and delivering complex ServiceNow solutions with excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
- Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and maintain code quality across the team.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure all deliverables meet quality and performance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specs and knowledge base articles.
- Participate in architecture discussions and solution design sessions, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

**Required Qualifications**
- Minimum 7 years of ServiceNow development and implementation experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow App Engine development.

**Current ServiceNow certifications, such as**:

- Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
- Experience in at least two large-scale ServiceNow implementations.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
- Proven technical leadership and mentoring experience.

**Technical Skills**
- Advanced proficiency in ServiceNow App Engine Studio and App Engine Templates.
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and limitations.

**Expertise in**:

- Business Rules
- Project Scripts
- UI Policies & Actions
- Workflows & Flow Designer
- Integration Hub
- Service Portal Development
- Experience with source control and deployment tools.
- Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP web services and APIs.

**Leadership Skills**
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach junior developers.
- Experience in conducting technical training sessions.
- Strong code review, QA, and performance optimization capabilities.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear communication for non-technical stakeholders.
- Skilled in effort estimation, delivery planning, and managing technical deliverables.

**Additional Requirement**s**
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong technical documentation and presentation skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with multiple ServiceNow releases and platform upgrades.
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and IT Service Management processes.
- Experience in performance tuning, optimization, and ServiceNow governance.
- Additional certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies.
