Business Operations Manager

2+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, operations, critical facilities operation or equivalent education. - Experience in data centers, critical facilities, an infrastructure service provider or similar technology company. - 2+ years of experience managing global reporting and analytics - 2+ years of experience managing large data sets in Excel or other spreadsheet software - Experience with Salesforce reporting, implementation, and business process improvement.

In this role, the Business Operation Manager, APJC will form part of the Data Center Planning and Delivery (DCPD) leadership team, reporting to the Director of DCPD. This role requires working closely with the Director and senior leadership team to drive key strategic initiatives, drive deep cross functional integration and alignment, while identifying and evaluating business growth opportunities. This role will balance strategic, operational, and communication responsibilities for the DCPD APJC organization. This involves collaborating extensively with leadership, business stakeholders, internal operations, and several cross-functional teams to accelerate growth in the APJC region.

Key job responsibilities

Strategic
- Collaborate with the DCPD leadership team and business partners to track, analyze, and report on performance, metrics, project goals, and change initiatives.
- Manage and drive the cadence of DCPD’s annual planning calendar including annual Operating Plans (OP1 & OP2), Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), and Weekly Business Reviews (WBRs).
- Drive, in collaboration with the DCPD leadership team, the operating plan narrative and the development of the DCPD business plan.
- Identify and drive opportunities for sustainable and scalable solutions to improve business processes regionally and globally.
- Work with the DCPD leadership team to identify and prioritize areas of impact, scale, and integration opportunities and leverage across the organisation.

Operational
- Lead strategic planning initiatives and business reviews which involves planning, organizing, and coordinating with business leaders on crafting agenda, consolidating content, facilitating meetings, and following up on actions items.
- Analyze operations to identify key metrics and opportunities for effective business operation of the DCPD organization.
- Manage cross-functional projects and business reviews against operational plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals.
- Seek out ways to utilize Salesforce and other internal tools to improve processes and productivity and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace.
- Develop required mechanisms within APJC and coordinate and drive operational and strategic reviews (WBRs, MBRs, Goal reviews, etc.).
- Identify efficiency opportunities and drive associated initiatives to improve performance and success of the DCPD organization.
- Support budget and head count management at the overall APJC org level.
- Manage the Capital Allocation Request (CAR) process across APJC ensuring highest quality of information and timely approvals.
- Monitor progress of executive, leadership, and team goals and develop mechanisms for review.

Communication
- Drive regular cadence of communications to various stakeholders including internal employees, in partnership with internal communications
- Responsible for communications of key initiatives across the DCPD leaders.
- Manage agendas/topics for staff meetings, strategic off-sites and other important reviews.
- Prepare updates and business reviews with executive leaders.
- MBA or advanced degree in engineering, supply chain or other quantitative disciplines. - 4+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management and/or supply planning role - 2+ years of experience managing and manipulating complex data sets utilizing analytical tools (Tableau, SQL, Data Warehouse, etc). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
