Data Engineering

This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

**_ Job Family Definition:_**

Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet

**_ Management Level Definition:_**

**_ Responsibilities: _**
- based platforms.
- Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.
- Provides guidance and mentoring to less
- experienced staff members.

**_ Techinical Skills Required: _**
- Strong knowledge of distributed computing and Hadoop echo system.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms and Sql queries
- Strong knowledge of Spark with RDD, Data frames and Dataset
- String knowledge of Scala
- Should have delivered at least 2 end to end projects in distributed framework
- No support role

**_ Education and Experience Required: _**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Typically 4-6 years experience.

**_ Knowledge and Skills: _**
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.
