The Regulatory Compliance Lead position involves spearheading and overseeing a cohesive team of officers responsible for monitoring, providing guidance on, and implementing measures to ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements across the company's global investment, trading, and operational activities. The Lead will offer prompt and practical regulatory and compliance advice to internal stakeholders, covering diverse areas such as worldwide securities and derivatives markets, private investments, new products, initiatives, and trading strategies.
The Lead will also advise on regulations governing investments in public and private markets across multiple global jurisdictions, including restrictions on foreign investors, prerequisites for investor access to local markets and investment opportunities, market conduct regulations, position limits for exchange-traded futures and options, as well as takeover regulations.
To qualify for this position, a minimum of 15 years of experience in a regulatory advisory role within a financial institution, securities exchange, or regulatory body is required. A solid understanding of financial markets and their products is essential, and experience in team management is preferred. Additionally, exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively cultivate and oversee a high-performing team while engaging with stakeholders and senior management.
