The role is responsible for managing supplier relationships including price negotiations, development and relationship management with Filters and Tapes suppliers. Expectation will also be around managing vendor selection, cost negotiation and monitoring compliance. In addition, the Global Procurement Manager will work with suppliers to drive continuous improvements including lead time reduction, delivery, working capital benefits. Finally a key requirement of the role will be managing change particularly around process improvement and managing product changes across multiple sites.

**Typical Accountabilities**

1. Controls, monitors and communicates Global Filters and Tapes strategic plan
- Implement and manage a robust strategic category plan for global commodities
- Coordinate, monitor and report on all Filters and Tapes process and material changes
- Coordinate Filters and Tapes RM market intelligence to support business pricing strategy
- Monitors and reconciles monthly PPV reporting against budget

2. Influences and drives change management for the business
- Delivers monthly KPI reports / Commodity analysis distributed to regional stakeholders
- Working with key stakeholders to define opportunities and execute the benefits
- Supports Filters process changes throughout the business

3. Ensures strong adherence to sourcing documentation and policy
- Reviews gaps in supplier governance and develop action plans to improve, including KYS and contract management
- Communicates reporting requirements throughout the organization
- Manage ongoing Supplier relationships & build strategic relationships with key category vendors

4. Manages and develops the category with an emphasis on continuous improvements
- Accountable for the Global Filters and Tapes category strategies
- Monitor market dynamics and leverage commodity indices for pricing negotiations
- Develop & implement a strategic plan to drive value for the category
- Provide innovative sourcing solutions by bringing continuous improvement & offering credible alternatives where applicable
- Lead the bidding process, negotiating pricing/terms & conditions, final contract award & implementation
- Ensures the company receives excellent trading terms through benchmarking and negotiation

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Business, Supply Chain/Logistics
- Minimum 8-10 years working experience in Procurement
- Experience in negotiation and category management
- Experience with strategy development, budgeting and financial management
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build good working relationships with stakeholders
