English Annotator

We are in search of a meticulous and enthusiastic Annotator with fluency in English to join our dynamic team. If you have a high level of independence, a keen eye for detail and a passion for the English language, you could be the person we're looking for.

**Responsibilities**:

- Data Annotation: Execute precise annotation and labeling of data, particularly English text, according to client-provided guidelines. Tasks may involve identifying specific themes, sentiments, or categorizations within the text.
- Adherence to Guidelines: Closely follow detailed instructions to ensure data is annotated consistently and accurately across projects.
- Quality Assurance: Perform self-checks on annotated data to identify and rectify any errors or inconsistencies, ensuring data quality meets high standards.
- Time Management: Complete annotation tasks within the required timelines, managing workloads effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Feedback and Improvement: Provide feedback on annotation processes and tools, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

**Job Requirements**
- Fluent in English and studied or worked in UK / Australia for at least 2 years in past 5 years.
- Possess basic computer skill and familiar with Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Possess general knowledge in online communication such as Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to follow directions and perform time bound tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks without degradation in quality.
- Detail-oriented and problem-solving mindset.
- Highly organized and focused to work independently as a role player within a team environment.
- Willing to work from Georgetown office for 5 working days (Mon-Fri) from 8AM to 5PM.
- Willing to work overtime if necessary.

**Good to have**
- Diploma or Professional Certificate in any field, preferably Linguistics/Languages but not a must
- Experience in data annotation, especially with English text.

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,800.00 per month
