The Lead Enterprise Architect (VP) will enable the maturation of an agile, reliable, secure, and responsive technology organization that fuels our technology transformation journey and delivers business value. This role will report directly to the Principal Enterprise Architect who leads the Engineering & Architecture division for the Technology Group.

**Responsibilities**

Develop enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap
- Play an enabling role in the Enterprise Architecture Board by facilitating corporate management level technology and business discussions, planning and decision-making
- Play a driving role in the Enterprise Architecture Working Group to develop and manage enterprise architecture that espouses business-technology alignment and reflects organizational and business goals
- Articulate the next iteration of GIC’s technology transformation journey and the accompanying multi-year technology roadmap
- Bring stakeholders and partners on-board the technology transformation journey through effective storytelling, communication and change management

Develop and manage architecture artifacts and maintain oversight
- Lead the development and maintain the oversight of governing principles to guide enterprise architecture and technology decision making
- Enable the development and governance of architecture blueprints, standards, and processes

Review project level system architecture
- Advise project teams on options, risks, costs versus benefits, system impact and technology priorities, especially in complex and large-scale projects

Research emerging technologies
- Enable the Technology Working Group to consult on, decide on and upkeep the relevancy of the Technology Standards and Technology Radar
- Enable the proactive research and evaluation of emerging industry and technology trends

**Qualifications, Skills & Competencies**
- Bachelor’s or higher Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- Proficient knowledge of relevant enterprise architecture methodologies, frameworks, and modelling tools such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, etc.
- Familiar with the modern cloud-based and cloud-native architecture, solutions, services and technologies, such as AWS, Azure, etc.
- Preferred to have good knowledge in the domains of financial markets, trading and investment processes, and risk and performance management
