**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Role Purpose**:
This is a regional role based in Singapore and will be working closely with the Regional Line Manager as well as the Global Property Actuary for this strategic portfolio. Similarly, there will be regular contact with other actuarial areas, management, claims and finance staff within the regional team, country level and other regions. The ability to interact with various levels of management and communicate in a direct and prompt manner will be critical to success in this role and further opportnities within the Chubb Global network.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Undertake detailed pricing analysis using internal and external data to enable ongoing reviews and calibration and enhancement of existing rating models.
- Supervise and assist in the design and development of new rating models in the region
- Lead the portfolio review in the region to align the strategic plan for the region
- Provide advice and assistance in the preparation of the annual business plan loss ratios for Property
- Lead projects with the Predictive Model Unit to enhance existing tools and develop new rating algorithms
- Design and lead the development of Management Information dashboards to monitor key performance Indicators for Fire
- Peer review and assist in the analysis of the reinsurance treaties
- Conduct pricing analysis for large programs
- Assist the regional line manager for Property with regular analysis of trends in the regional portfolio
- Prepare and lead analytics for reinsurance placements - treaties (local and global)

**Experience Required**:

- Close to 10 years of relevant experience in actuarial roles (close to 5 years in pricing) - ideally 5 years in commercial property or reinsurance
- Experience with leading projects
- Experience with modelling data through Emblem/Python/R is ideal

**Qualifications**:

- Newly/Nearly qualified actuary

**Languages**:

- English is critical
- Any Asian language is ideal
