**The Challenges**
You will be involved in various activities under the supervision of an occupational therapist including:

- conducting creative activities (such as art and craft, sewing, painting, gardening etc) with patients with mental illness in group or individual settings
- supervising patients in outdoor activities (such as sports, outings, cleaning and gardening)
- carrying out administrative duties relating to the operations of the rehabilitation programs
- assisting in carrying out assessment or treatment on patient’s self-care tasks (personal grooming, toileting, showering etc)

**The Requirements**
- Minimum secondary school education, with trade certification (ITE, NAFA, NITEC certificate, etc) in creative arts, crafts or other trade skills. Diploma qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Relevant working experience in the social service industries or hospital/rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Team player who possesses good communication, strong interpersonal and instructional skills.
- Motivated to learn
- Generally physically fit; able to do simple patient transfer maneuvers and have good gross and fine motor skills.
- Able to speak local dialect and comfortable in communicating with older adults.
