**ABOUT THE POSITION**:
We are currently seeking an Accounting Manager to grow our global accounting and finance team with a dedicated professional in accounting that loves ecommerce. If you are a top-performing team player looking for a great opportunity with growth then we want to hear from you.

**YOUR SKILLS**:

- You love accounting and have strong accounting and analytical skills
- You have strong desire to provide top level accounting services and resolve issues/ problems by independently evaluating issues and suggesting solutions
- You have worked in accounting for five or more years
- You have strong written and oral communication skills
- You have experience with retail and product manufacturing
- You love technology as it applies to accounting and know ERP or Netsuite
- You love the growing area of E-Commerce
- You speak English and if you know any other international language it would be an asset

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To assist in order to ensure monthly closing, tax submissions and audits are smooth
- Speedily manage the month end activities which include closing of sub ledgers, general ledger account reconciliations, reporting and balance sheet account analysis and deliver the accurate financial statements as a part of the month end close process
- Ensure appropriate financial policies, procedures and internal controls are in place, documented and also drive process improvements.
- Identify problems and changing requirements regarding management needs, auditing and other financial reporting requirement, accounting systems along with responsible for modifications
- Actively participate in strategic initiatives and special projects when assigned or required and lead cross functional systems and process improvement initiatives
- Flexible to work as per US time zone 1-2 days a week
- Cooperate internationally with all regions
- Work diligently with global team to ensure timelines are achieved
- Ensure adherence to compliance as applicable IFRS and US GAAP
- Learn, train and build in Netsuite
- Identify aspects of technology to improve business work flow and efficiency

**QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS**:

- Qualified CA is required
- Medium to advanced level of Microsoft Excel skill sets required
- Understanding of Financial Reporting
- NetSuite experience a plus
- Concur experience a plus
- Use of Tableau reporting an asset
